Varietal – Progeny 502 consists of cultivated trees that use a grafting technique to combine Kona Arabica tops and African Liberican Kona nematode-resistant root stock. Working closely with the University of Hawaii and the Hawaii Department of Agriculture, this unique Costa Rican turned Kona strain effectively fights against the Kona-specific nematode.
Roast – Medium Roast.
Flavor Notes – Full and rounded body with notes of dark chocolate, brown sugar, citrus, and malt.
